Specialist in Internal Medicine — Rehabilitation Clinics | Austria

Swap emergency-room frenzy for meaningful, unrushed patient care in one of Austria’s leading spa-town rehabilitation centres.

 
What’s on offer
Annual gross package: ≈ €137 000 (39 h week, includes four night duties per month). On top of the normal 12 salaries, Austria pays a 13th “holiday” and 14th “Christmas” month, both taxed at a reduced rate, giving a clear net-income uplift.
Contract & hours: permanent Austrian contract under the new collective agreement; predictable rota with family-friendly scheduling.

Your role
Independent inpatient management and follow-up care.
Hands-on diagnostic work (echocardiography, treadmill/ergometry, long-term ECG & BP).
Design individual therapy plans in collaboration with physio, nursing and psychology teams.
Take part in a fair rota of night, weekend and public-holiday duties.
 
Ideal profile
EU-recognised board certification in Internal Medicine; cardiology subspecialty training is a plus.

German language B2
Genuine interest in rehabilitative medicine and secondary prevention.
Team-minded, empathic clinician ready to communicate complex topics in plain language.
