Specialist Ophthalmologist — Modern Clinics | Southern France

A network of cutting-edge ophthalmology centres on the French Riviera and Occitanie coast is hiring board-certified ophthalmologists for permanent posts.

 
What’s on offer
Salary: €10 000 – €20 000 net / month – this is take-home pay after French income-tax and social-security deductions, with upside for high surgical volumes. incor.hr
Contract: full-time, open-ended French contract (35 h week) with national health-insurance cover, malpractice insurance and an annual CME budget.
Equipment: latest OCT, femtosecond & excimer lasers, premium IOLs, wide-field retina imaging.
Relocation package: housing search, visa & medical-licence paperwork, language courses for you + family.
Language: no French required at start; employer funds intensive classes to B1/B2 and provides interpreter support.
Time off: six weeks paid annual leave plus French public holidays.
Career path: focus on cataract/refractive, medical retina, glaucoma or paediatric subspecialties, with a fast track to Medical Director for seasoned surgeons.
 
Ideal profile
EU-recognised Ophthalmology specialist diploma.
Surgical autonomy in cataract; additional skills (LASIK/SMILE, retina, glaucoma) welcome.
Motivation to learn French within the first year and integrate into a multicultural team.
