Specialist Orthopaedist — Rehabilitation Clinics | Austria

Trade the operating theatre for state-of-the-art musculoskeletal diagnostics and evidence-based rehabilitation—in two of Austria’s most celebrated spa towns.

Annual gross package: ≈ €137 000 (39-hour week, includes four night duties per month). Austria’s 13th “holiday” and 14th “Christmas” salaries are taxed at a reduced rate, boosting take-home pay. 
Permanent Austrian contract under the latest physicians’ collective agreement, with full social-security cover.

Your role
Conduct detailed orthopaedic assessments, order and interpret imaging, and formulate evidence-based rehabilitation plans.
Lead multidisciplinary case conferences with physio, occupational therapy, psychology and nursing teams.
Perform ultrasound-guided injections, joint aspirations and other non-operative procedures as indicated.
 
Ideal profile
EU-recognised specialist diploma in Orthopaedics & Traumatology.
Registration (or eligibility) for the Austrian Medical Register.
German language proficiency at the B2 level is mandatory.
Passion for functional recovery and secondary prevention in an inpatient rehab environment.
