Job Description

ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

The Hospital is located in the southern part of the Region of Southern Denmark with activities spread out in mainly two cities. The hospital covers an area of approximately 225,000 inhabitants. The hospital is structured in 21 departments - clinics and subunits such as outpatient departments, wards, laboratories etc. Furthermore, there is an administration unit with staff departments (the quality department, the finance department, and the HR department), an IT department, and a “project department of hospital construction”. The hospital has approx 2600 employees. It has approximately 302 beds and almost 430,000 inpatients and outpatients receive treatment every year. 

Main responsibilities and expectations

Anaesthesia for Injuries within the musculoskeletal system, i.e. hands, feet, shoulders, hips, etc. Problems with the inner organs, e.g. bile, stomach, intestine, etc. Cancer operations and reconstructive plastic surgery Births, c-sections, and other gynaecological operations CT and MRI, incl. children ECT and DC cardioversion All the operation rooms have PCs which among other things are used when receiving details for the patient record, X-ray images, blood test results, and operation plans.

What's expected of you

To have medical and specialist titles issued or recognized by the European Union.

To have EU citizenship.

To show interest in teamwork and be willing to contribute to the clinic's development.

To be able to complete the intensive Danish language course, which is part of the program offered by the hospital.

Basic Requirements

*To be a specialist doctor/nurse/dentist with at least 2-3 years of experience and graduated from an EU university.

* To be an EU citizen or have an EU Long-term residence permit.

In case you are not an EU citizen:

* Your diploma has to be homologated in one of the EU countries.

* You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience in one of the EU countries after the title homologation.

* Long term residency from an EU country.
