Job Description

Bologna Health Jobs with more than 15 years working in Ireland  is seeking 4 Locum consultants in  child&adolescent  psychiatry: 

All these positions are located in an amazing areas with good  schools, incredible natural parks, restaurants, and lively areas.

The candidates will be part of the consultant team and will be one of the department's top managers.

 

Functions:

1. Clinical and Administrative Management

• Supervise psychiatric and psychological care for children and adolescents.

 

• Coordinate the work of the multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, etc.).

 

• Establish assessment, diagnosis, and treatment protocols.

 

2. Supervision and Training

• Supervise the clinical practice of staff, including residents.

 

• Promote the team's continuing education.

 

3. Intervention in Complex Cases

• Make decisions in highly complex or high-risk clinical cases.

 

• Coordinate with other services (emergency department, pediatrics, social services, educational centers, juvenile justice). Conditions treated:

 

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

Autism spectrum disorders (ASD)

Anxiety and phobias

Childhood and adolescent depression

Behavioral disorders

Eating disorders (such as anorexia or bulimia)

Sleep disorders

Juvenile psychosis or schizophrenia

Adjustment disorders or complicated grief

Problems related to abuse, trauma, or violence…

What's offered:

 

Base salary from €233-280,5K gross per year (new salary starting August 25) (there are six salary scales, and you'll be at one level or another depending on experience) + on-call pay, reaching up to €320K GROSS per year, approximately €10-12K per month.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years' experience (including specialty)

- Very high level of English (C1). No certificate required. 

- Register with the IMC on the register of specialists in child and adolescent psychiatry  . We will assist all candidates in doing this if they are not yet registered. 

- All candidates who are not registered must be qualified as specialists in  child&adolescent psychiatry, in the European Union (no CVS will be considered without this requirement) or, alternatively, must have held a specialist title recognized in an EU Member State and have practiced for three years from the date of recognition if they come from outside the EU.
