ABOUT THE CENTRE

The injury center provides rehabilitation for patients with traumatic and pathological spinal cord injuries and is one of two centers in Denmark with a highly specialized function in this form of rehabilitation.

Main expectations

In addition to clinical tasks, the departmental physician will be expected to participate in interdisciplinary development processes and change management, such as:

• Drafting clinical guidelines and instructions.

• Adjusting/developing treatment offerings for the benefit of patients.

• Contributing to the implementation of quality and development initiatives in the VCR.

• Participating in the development, monitoring, evaluation, and evolution of clinical standards.

• Participating in research projects at VCR according to the area of interest.

What’s expected of you

•To be a specialist in a relevant specialty: rheumatology, neurology, general medicine, internal medicine, community medicine, neurosurgery, or orthopaedic surgery.

•To be able to work in a multidisciplinary team with the patient and the patient's relatives.

•To have the desire to work in research.

•To have the desire to participate in and contribute to the department's teaching.
