What is different in Sweden?

The Swedish pharmaceutical system is still a traditionalist one focused on the needs of patients

In Sweden, Pharmacists have their own Union and work under a Collective Labor Agreement, which ensures their guarantee of respecting employment rights

In Sweden, the Pharmacist is a Medication Specialist, his role is to advise patients on how to administer medication and on possible side effects or interactions with other medications used.

In the pharmacy, the work system is a relaxed and pleasant one

There are sales targets per pharmacy/team and not individual sales targets, these are reasonable and not stressful at all.

The program is financed by the employing companies in order to fill the vacant positions.

FREE Swedish language course is offered

The employing companies are large Swedish pharmaceutical chains.

Job requirements:

– Pharmacists' willingness to work and relocate to Sweden for at least 2 years, companies are looking for Pharmacists to move to Sweden long-term

– Very good English skills (interviews will be 100% in English, the Swedish language course will be held in English)

– Recent experience as a Pharmacist in a Community Pharmacy – at least 1 year

– Active, communicative, sociable, adaptable people

Employment contract:

– Contract period: at least 2 years (with possibility of extension)

– Salaries: starting with 35,000 SEK gross/month+overtime+weekend
– Salary taxes are approximately 32% for the employee, depending on the region
– Schedule: 40 hours/week – shifts or day schedule, including weekends (once every 2-3 weeks – depending on the pharmacy) )

– job locations: small towns (2,000- 20,000 inhabitants)

THE SWEDISH LANGUAGE COURSE IS FREE

THE COURSE IS: A SKYPE course + a 3-MONTH INTENSIVE course in Belgrade (at the language school)

THE EMPLOYER PAYS:

-Swedish language course A1-C1

– transportation (Romania – Sweden) at the start of the job

– transportation to the intensive Swedish language course

– maintenance costs during the intensive Swedish course
