REGISTERED NURSE FOR A DIALYSIS UNIT
Job Description

About the position:
We are seeking a licensed registered nurse for a highly specialised dialysis unit at a university hospital in Sweden. Here, you will work with haemodialysis treatment in a stimulating environment where you combine medical technology with nursing care.

Employment: Permanent position, full-time (100%)

Schedule: Day and evening shifts, every 4th weekend, approximately 1 weekday evening per week

Start date: As soon as possible

Start of language training: As agreed

Duties:
As a dialysis nurse, you will:

- Provide haemodialysis treatment to both chronically and acutely ill patients
- Work with medical technology and nursing care
- Build long-term, positive relationships with patients
- Work based on a person-centred approach
- Support the patient’s ability to manage self-care
- Work in a team with nurses and nursing assistants
- Participate in operations every day of the week (day and evening)
- Work every 4th weekend and approximately one weekday evening per week


Qualifications:
- Registered nurse licensed in an EU country

- Swedish at C1 level (or studies to achieve this)

- Ability to collaborate and work in a team

- Flexibility and the ability to build strong relationships
 

Meritorious:

- Experience from a dialysis unit
- Experience in emergency care
- About the workplace:
- You will work at a haemodialysis unit with:

- 16 treatment stations
- Highly specialised outpatient service
- Treatment of both chronically and acutely ill patients
- Operations every day of the week (day and evening)
- A stimulating work environment with medical technology and nursing care
- Focus on person-centred care


**Introduction:** As a newly employed nurse, you will receive thorough onboarding alongside an experienced supervisor for eight weeks, providing the conditions for you to feel confident and secure in your new workplace. After that, your supervisor will act as your mentor.
