Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (39 hours per week)
Pay: From €21.00 per hour

Role Overview
Orwell Healthcare invites applications for the position of Registered General Nurse (Staff Nurse) within our Care of the Elderly services. This is an excellent opportunity to develop professionally within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
The Staff Nurse shares responsibility with the wider nursing team for maintaining the highest standards of nursing care under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing.

Key expectations include:
Maintaining professional and ethical standards at all times
Demonstrating strong clinical expertise
Continuously developing leadership and teaching skills
Working in accordance with the guidelines of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA)
 
Candidate Requirements
Registered on the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Demonstrated clinical experience and commitment to person-centred care
Strong interpersonal skills
Fluent spoken and written English
 
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care within NMBI and HIQA guidelines
Assist in the management and care of residents in line with Orwell Healthcare policies and procedures
Maintain professional integrity and adhere to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct
Communicate effectively with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams within and outside the organisation
